My father was once an overseas student who went to Canada. 

It was 1977-1980 when John Lennon got shot. He told me it was quite a big news and everyone he knows in Vancouver were sad. He loves The Beatles too, and listened to them since he was young. My father gently told me don’t cry because John was an angel, and he just get back to where he should belongs.

I love my father, and John Lennon. 

And Paul, too.
